FAQ

Does the tour run in rain, snow, or on holidays?

Yes, the tours run as scheduled. If weather conditions are extreme and the tour cannot take place, we will directly reach out.

What is a free tour and how does it work?

A free tour is a guided walking tour with no fixed price. You book for free, enjoy the route with a professional guide, and at the end, you decide how much to tip based on your experience. It’s the model used by the best tourism companies in Europe because it aligns tour quality with traveler satisfaction: if the guide isn't good, it shows immediately.

Are free tours really free?

Not really. They're free in the 'freedom' sense. Meaning you don't have to pay anything upfront, and only pay at the end of the tour the amount you deem fair in the form of a tip.

How much to tip in a free tour?

Most travellers tip around €15-20 per person. At the beginning of the tour the guide briefly explains how free tours work so no one has any doubts. And of course, no pressure on minimum amount.

Do I have to book in advance?

Yes, we recommend you book through our website to gurantee your spot. The groups have a maximum of 30 people and the most popular schedules fill up fast, especially during high season.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. Booking is free for all free tours and up to 48h before for paid excursions.

What happens if I arrive late to the tour's meeting point?

The guide waits 5 minutes and then begins the tour. If you arrive late you can send us a text via WhatsApp and we'll help you find your guide promptly.

Where is the meeting point?

It depends on the tour: Old Town & Jewish Quarter: In front of ZARA, Na Příkopě 15 (Prague city center, 2 minutes from Můstek metro station). Prague Castle & Charles Bridge: Next to the Statue of Charles IV, on the Old Town side of the Charles Bridge. Look for the orange and blue ODISEA umbrella. New Town: Nazism & Communism: In front of ZARA, Na Příkopě 15 (same meeting point as the Old Town tour).

How long does each tour last?

All free tours run for approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.

What languages are tours offered in?

All our tours are conducted in Spanish by default. We also offer tours in English and Italian upon request. If you need a tour in another language, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance, and we'll do our best to accommodate your request.

Are tours wheelchair accessible?

Generally, yes, although Prague's historic center has many cobblestone streets and stairs, which can be challenging for wheelchair users. However, some of our tours can be adapted for reduced mobility. Please contact us before booking so we can discuss your specific needs and suggest the most suitable tour options.

Do you offer private tours?

Yes! We offer private tours for individuals, couples, families, or groups. Private tours can be customized according to your interests, schedule, and pace. They are perfect for special occasions, corporate events, or when you desire a more personalized experience. Contact us for pricing and availability.
